projects completed

New school in Phoudindaeng (2010):

Three ethnic groups live in Phoudindaeng:  Lao Loum, Hmong and Khamu. The Hmong and Khamu speak their own dialects, so when they begin school, they begin at a disadvantage and are behind the Lao Loum, who already speak the official language. EEFA builded three classrooms in the village of Phoudindaeng where there is no primary school. The goal of this school is a preparation school where the children can learn the country’s official language Lao Loum, and not get behind their fellow students who already speak Lao Loum. In this school, the teachers will concentrate their attention to the language to ensure the Hmong and Khamu children do not fall behind their Lao Loum friends. This project is funded by LLL from Belgium. www.laatlaosleren.be (Dutch website). The education in this school is organized by the Vang Vieng Education Office. It's also this office that provided the land.

Office for EEFA:

At the end of 2008 we started to install an office for EEFA. Before the Organic Farm organised the English classes in the Organic Farm's office, this office was not very practical to extend EEFA's future projects so Mr T decided to seperate everything and EEFA has now it's own office. The office can only be for the Organic Farm' (EEFA) education projects. Laat Laos Leren (LLL - Let Lao Learn) from Belgium www.laatlaosleren.be (Dutch website) funded 3.000 USD as a start. We bought two new computers, a printer, a laminator and furniture with this money.

New classrooms in Phonpeng:

In the beginning of 2008 we built three new classrooms in the shool located in the village of Phonpeng. This project was completely funded by Laat Laos Leren (LLL - Let Lao Learn) from Belgium www.laatlaosleren.be (Dutch website). These new classrooms are build to replace three olders classrooms that were in a bad condition.
